In my newly built 3 storey townhouse, (measuring 90sq.m with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms), I have had a solar system of hot water and underfloor heating installed.
One of the benefits of this is that I can have all my rooms thermostatically controlled so I can set individual temperatures for each room, and I don’t need to reset the temperature settings in different seasons as the system will automatically adjust the temperature outside. This means if I am away from the house I know I will return to a warm house in winter and a cool house in summer, without me needing to be there to alter the controls.
I have also had a back up water tank fitted ensuring I have a supply of water even when the mains water has been switched off.
I also benefit from ‘off peak electricity’ as my system is backed up by electricity.
